Pitch, Practice, Perform:
Media Training System for Changemakers-PREVIEW
Whether you're an expert, entrepreneur, thought leader, or changemaker, your story deserves the spotlight. But media appearances are high-stakes. That's why veteran broadcaster René Syler created Pitch, Practice, Perform, a media training system built from 30-plus years in top-tier broadcast television. She's been on both sides of the camera and now she's giving you the insider roadmap to become the kind of guest producers remember, book again, and rave about.
The Pitch, Practice, Perform methodology is a comprehensive, 3-part training system designed to be used together or separately based on your specific needs and media goals.
Below is the first lesson from Module 1- Pitch.

Module 1: Pitch
This module tackles the fundamental challenge facing experts and thought leaders: getting media attention in the first place. This comprehensive training reveals the insider perspective on media decision-making that most people never see. Learn how producers think, when to pitch, how to craft irresistible story angles, and how to build real relationships with the media without feeling awkward or pushy. This module transforms your approach from hoping for coverage to strategically positioning yourself as the go-to expert in your field.
Module 2: Practice
Securing a media opportunity is just the beginning. Module 2 focuses on the critical preparation phase that determines whether your appearance will be phenomenal or forgettable. This training provides a structured approach to interview preparation that builds confidence and ensures message clarity.
Module 3: Perform
The final module focuses on live execution - the moments that matter most. Even with excellent preparation, the pressure of lights, cameras, and limited time can derail even the most experienced speakers. This training provides both technical knowledge and psychological tools to ensure you deliver with impact.
