My Story
HI. I'm René. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in October 2021 and it came as a complete surprise. Even though diabetes ran in my family, I felt like I didn't LOOK like a diabetic (whatever that is); I also was active and thought my diet was pretty good. Little did I know, it's WAY more than that!
My doctor out me on the highest dose of Metformin twice a day and then sent me on my way, his parting message, eat fewer sweets and carbs. Did I already mention type 2 diabetes is WAY more than that?
I started researching everything I could get my hands on and found out that in fact, I did NOT have to be relegated to a lifetime of medication IF I made some changes.Â
And that is what I aim to do here. Through The Sweet Reversal Facebook group, my newsletter and my signature, 7-Day, Glucose Reset Challenge I will share all the information I have learned and used to bring my own diabetes into remission and stay off medication!
